This week has been crazy.
My boyfriend Keith & I have officially submitted two vegan travel videos to VeganTravel.com’s Vegan Around the World Contest. If we win we will be sponsored to travel around the world & document veganism & animal rights. If you haven’t checked out our Vegan Guide to Los Angeles or Vegan Guide to Huntington Beach, please do?! Views, likes and comments on BOTH the YouTube video and the Vegan Travel page will increase our chances of winning. We work very hard to create some great vegan travel guides so we really appreciate your help. We’d love to create more of these with the help of VeganTravel.com!
In the midst of trying submit two quality vegan travel guide videos, I’ve had my first press experiences!
I’ve been a podcast guest & had an interview feature!
Vegan Newbs had me as a podcast guest where we talked about vegan travel and lifestyle. I may be biased but Barry & I had a really great conversation. I hope you listen, and it will definitely give you a good background on what I’ve been up to lately. (& please excuse me when I say VeganTravel.com is my website. ? I’ve been saying “VeganTravel.com” SO MANY TIMES in the past couple of months, that it just came out. LOL.)
AND THEN my friend Cameron interviewed me for her feminist blog! I LOVED the questions Cameron asked me so it’s another great way to learn more about me!
I’ve also reached a “milestone” in social media land. I don’t focus on the numbers but I’ve surpassed 1,000 followers on both Instagram and Twitter! It’s so much fun that this community is getting a littler bigger. So thank you for following on Instagram and Twitter, and if you’re not, I’d love to see you there! (Oh & on the subject matter of social media, I absolutely love SnapChat so if you want to follow my stories of what I’ve been eating and pictures of my pets, that’s the place! I’m at city_loveee.)
I’ve been feeling so much love and support from you all, so I want to give back! I’ve been brainstorming a giveaway! Interested? ?
As I write this blog post, I feel that it could have easily been a newsletter. I’ve had a newsletter option for a few months but with not many subscribers, so I haven’t been inclined to send one out. But when I have things going on like being in a contest, being featured on a podcast and having a blog post interview, I want to just email & tell you! Wanna subscribe to my newsletter?!
I’m debating between a weekly or monthly newsletter. I’m wondering if you have a preference, since you’ll be the ones receiving it!
Well that was a big update. Thanks for “listening” to me ramble on.
We’d really, really, really appreciate engagement on our vegan travel video guides! So feel free to click over & help us out! Thank you!
